Fellow Canadian Indie Hackers, Where Are You? Let's connect!

Hey fellow Canadian indie hackers,

I have been thinking it would be great to connect with others who understand the unique ups and downs of building here. Whether you are just starting or already running your SaaS, product, or side project, it can feel a bit different building here compared to other countries.

The Canadian startup landscape comes with its own opportunities and challenges. There are unique grant programs and funding paths, but also hurdles like a smaller local market, higher costs in certain cities, and fewer startup-specific networking events compared to places like the US.

I would love to start something (Discord/Slack community may be?) where we can share our wins, struggles, and tips. We could have Zoom calls for those spread across provinces, and in-person meetups for those in the same city. We could talk about finding customers from Canada and abroad, applying for government grants, raising capital here, or even just swapping growth strategies.
