Figma 5 years without income at the start

Incredible revenue growth from Figma. 5 years without income at the start. How did they manage to raise the round after five years? Is it possible?

they got a few rounds of funding during that time: https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/figma/company_financials

is your question how were they able to secure funding with no revenue? That's an interesting question, probably some combination of showing really strong user engagement metrics, making a great pitch, and the fact that during those years the investors were very bullish on developer tools.

I have been an active user of figma for 2 years designing my products. I would love to know their secret to success and borrow some ideas on how get funding for a Saas.

When raising investments in the USA, this is of great importance, especially if your company is more than 2 years old and there is no income.
