Finally, a startup idea worth finding for. Now to get thos first few users.
I strongly believe people would benefit greatly from communicating easier via audio. Texts, social media posts, IG pictures, they just fall short to build real lasting connections. Lets get back to basics.
I created something like this called Speakway a few years ago. Voice tech has come a long way since then, and acceptance is much higher. As people get back into cars and begin commuting again, it could have some legs!

It is indeed, the project got some attention through the podcast circuit and I ended up licensing out a portion of the tech instead of releasing to the public and iterating.
And I goofed on the name, Speakway was the company, not the product.

Hey that looks great! It is indeed very related to what I'm trying to build. Though I'm focusing on an easy app first & thought to only implement voice commands etc after that has some traction. So if you say you licensed it out, does that mean another company is now working on this or have implemented something similar? Can you mention who that would be?
And lastly what made you decide to not pursue this any further? It's something that you could've pushed & grown I reckon?

I started focusing on building voice experiences for big brands instead, and stopped driving to Boston every day, which mean my personal need disappeared. My interests have shifted a lot after spending a couple years in the space. They licensed the portion which does the easy voice recording via mobile app and server side audio conversion/upload for reuse in whatever target. No, they haven’t released yet, they keep pivoting ;)

well I am well versed in Javascript but recently I have been getting a lot into flutter, and as for what I do, I am still a student in high school.
