I started "working" on my startup in mid 2020, as a non technical founder I didn't even know about no code tools. I'm not really well connected so it was quite difficult to find a partner to connect with (I tried several times on IH as well)
So I did what I could on almost no resources and hired an intern or two and built a prototype. I spent almost 6 months building it - Big mistake.
We couldn't get our foot into the door into any of the target customers (mostly funded startups) because the existing solution had too many integrations.
I quickly pivoted to a different use case in the same space in mid 2021 but my funds ran out and I couldn't retain the guys I hired. My SaaS was stuck in limbo.
Thankfully whatever was built was enough to convince a friend of mine I know through YC SUS.
I'm officially taking CadenceIQ out of the prototype phase and actively into it's Beta release!
Also after having consumed so much #buildinpublic content on this platform I'm committing to documenting as much as I publicly through twitter and linkedin. Would love suggestions on best ways to engage with the community :)
