Finally got the time to create an app landing page
Hi IndieHackers,
This is my first post. I quit my full-time job as a Tech Lead of Growth in a Boston Startup exactly 2 months ago. A ex-colleague of mine told me to check out IndieHackers (maybe he'll see this post).
Starting from the first day of unemployment I have been working hard on this app that I hoped someone else would build over the past 10 years. Now I finally get to build it myself.
It's built using Flutter, and I was amazed by its rendering performance. I couldn't really tell if it's native or an app built using a cross-platform framework. For anyone who is still evaluating Flutter, just dive in. It blows react-native out of the park and is a truly time-saver.
I also got some help from IndieHackers. Particularly from @genemachine who gave me a lot of useful initial feedback. Happy I finally have something to share, and I can't wait to connect with more of you!

I really like the design apart form one thing. The input form is way rounder than everything else, it doesn't seem like it fits.

Great question. My Android build is stuck in "Pending Publication" - not sure what's going on with Google Play Store right now.
Some of the competitors are coach.me, Done, Productive, Habit, HabitMinder, Way of Life, HabitHub, UpHabit, Moment, Today, HabitBull.
The USPs are: unified data and radical customer focus.
Lemme explain. The issue today with a lot of the self-help/mental health apps is that they are all siloed. One company builds a habit tracker, another builds a todo list. Journaling, morning routine, and meditation apps are all separate and require separate logins.
As the name of the domain suggests, I'd like to create a suite of apps where the data is all connected. For example, a calendar app should know what side projects you are working on, so it can suggest time slots for you to work on them. A meditation app could be customized if it knows what really motivates you and pick meditations that fit you. Same with journaling apps. It's much more effective when the prompts are based on your project list.
Then I'd like to quickly mention radical customer focus - which is my favorite topic. I think ultimately what differentiates great products from mediocre products is the founders' will power. They have to spend long enough time to polish a product until it's dead simple to use. Everyone has the capability to polish, but few fully carry it out.
My single goal with this project is to force myself to talk to as many people as possible to learn how I can improve it, and I hope I can get it to a point where any new user can download it and just start using it without any confusion.
