Hey Hackers,
Two weeks ago, I took the plunge and left my day job. The feeling is still surreal, a mix of excitement, liberation, and anxiety. For years, I dreamed of building something of my own, and now, that dream is my reality. But stepping into this uncharted territory is both exhilarating and terrifying.
Now, I'm pouring my heart and soul into TalentRun. I believe in its potential to revolutionize recruitment, to make the hiring process faster, smarter, and more efficient for recruiters everywhere. This conviction drives me, but it doesn't erase the fears and doubts that creep in. The journey of entrepreneurship is often romanticized, but the reality is a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges.
As a developer, transitioning to learning sales has been a steep curve. Coding is my comfort zone, but selling? That's a whole new beast. Yet, every day, I push myself to step out of my comfort zone, to embrace the discomfort and grow. I’m thrilled to be on the brink of securing my first few customers. This milestone feels monumental and validates the sleepless nights and endless hustle.
I’ve given myself 3-6 months to make TalentRun a sustainable venture. This is my runway, my window of opportunity to prove that TalentRun can generate enough revenue to support me. The goal is clear: build a successful business that allows me to avoid returning to a day job. This is my shot at creating something meaningful, something that can make a real impact, and I’m all in.
Leaving the stability of a paycheck is scary, and there are moments when I question my sanity. But I remind myself that the greatest rewards often come from the greatest risks. This journey is about more than just financial success; it's about pursuing a passion, learning new skills, and pushing myself to new heights.
Wish me luck, and please give me your feedback. Every bit of support counts in this adventure. Whether it's advice, encouragement, or constructive criticism, I’m here to listen and learn. Together, we can make TalentRun a success and prove that taking the leap of faith is worth it. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Check out TalentRun. Your support means the world to me!
