Finally launching my first product on Indie Hackers 🕺
I have been a lurker in the indie hacker forum for way too long as I enjoyed staying at my cushy corporate job. I used to jokingly refer to myself as a wantrepreneur all this years as I always wanted to build something but my cushy high paying job and my laziness bogged me down.
I did try to launch a few things but my enterprise bias and having things perfect stopped me from launching. Until I met my cofounder Mas @fastsociety at a hackathon and we just clicked on this problem which we were passionate to solve.
Today we are launching contentable.ai - a low code platform to compare, test, build and deploy your own AI model
Some of the features are

I want to talk about the costs real quick, I see when fiddling with the model comparisons in the playground that there is a small costs with GPT 3.5 and 4 ranging from $0.0003-0.0077 when generating. Are you secretly charging accounts to generate these prompts as they make them? or is that figure merely an example of the costs to expect using the AI?
Am I expecting to see a bill for running a template test just now? or is this figure an example of what I can expect to pay if I use either of the GPT models for these prompts?
It mentions topping up your credit in the profile page but I don't remember ever having credit when I ran the prompt. So is this a theoretical or genuine charged figure for someone coming across your website and using the template? Because if it's the latter you seem to forget to send the user a message that they will be charged let alone prevent them from generating a prompt without initial credit.
See now I refreshed the profile and it tells me $0.16 out of $5. Do you grant users $5 to trial the technology?
hi @jackspiers00 thanks for checking our product out. Yes that's right we are giving free $5 for anyone to try the tool, so you won't need to pay. Please bear with us as we are still working on the pricing model but $5 should last for at least two weeks on a reasonable usage.
