I kept running into the same issue when trying to make music.
Whenever I wanted to test an idea, finding a usable beat became a task on its own. A lot of “free beats” either had restrictions, felt low quality, or forced licensing decisions too early.
That friction kept breaking my flow.
So I started putting something together just for myself to make that part easier. The goal wasn’t to build a marketplace, but to make the early stage of creating smoother. Something where I could quickly find a beat and just start working.
One thing I realized while doing this is that most platforms are optimized for selling, not for creating.
Shifting focus to speed and usability changed how I approached everything.
Still early, but it has already made a difference in how I work.
Curious if others here have similar friction in their workflow, even outside music.
