Find the right SaaS pricing - product idea validation

Hey founders,

I know, I know.

We're all scared of pricing. Asking customers to pay us money? Hell no. We're not worthy. You can't just build something in a few weeks and look adults in the eyes expecting them to pay for it, right?

Well, like it or not - you have to do it sooner rather than later.

I got laid off from a startup at the beginning of 2023. Because we couldn't make enough money to sustain our team.

We had a decent product. We had decent growth. 1,200 B2B customers were using it but we could barely hit $10k MRR at the end of the first year.

After that I started digging a lot into pricing and I found some shocking stuff.

Companies adjust pricing once every 3 years, on average. 3 YEARS!

But we change product & marketing strategies 3 times a day.

So I did some more digging and realized something else.

Founders are scared to talk about pricing and put it off until the last possible second. Simply because they're not experts at it. I mean, founders build cool stuff but have no idea how to charge money for it.

So the product I started working on has the mission to change that.

It's called Pricer (thepricer.co) and it's a pricing page builder for Webflow. It's built for busy founders and startup teams that don't know much about pricing but need to find the right pricing strategy before they run out of money.

The pricing page builder makes it easier to publish beautiful pricing pages for SaaS and most of all - make changes to your price points, messaging, and packaging without wasting hours in Webflow.

The idea is to have pre-built monetization templates that give you ready-to-go pricing pages for feature-based pricing, usage-based pricing, and the rest of them so you don't think too much but focus on doing.

Pricing is never a done deal.

I believe having an easier way to iterate pricing will make more founders to think about their pricing strategy by having the tools to streamline pricing and monetization for their startups.

Please - tell me what you think, would you guys use a product like that, and how much would you be willing to pay for it if it helps you find the best way to monetize your product and increase MRR, LTV, ARR, and feel better about taking this entrepreneurship thing so serious.
