I started learning golf since the pandemic hit with more leisure time. I'd like to keep the hobby going. However, I find it extremely difficult to find partners at a similar level to practice together and make some new friendships. I've tapped into my friend's circle, but most either located dispersed or not into the sport. I've searched on Bumble but the filter is not precise and most people just out there looking for happy hour drinks, hikes... I'm in search of a better solution.
Although I'm more accustomed to traditional casinos, there are those that have cryptocurrency as their primary form of payment. I'm wondering if an angle on this could be to make it a service that you provide for a health club / tennis club / golf range. For instance, I (used to) go to a gym with squash courts. There is no "seeking partners" sheet on the wall, so I have to meet people to play in different ways (which, admittedly is not terribly hard at this particular gym, but it's been harder at others). So that would be for a private one (you have to be a member or be invited by a guest). But I'd imagine there are lots of pay-per-use public golf courses that could use this.
Go to different driving ranges at different times. You'll meet people. I travel often and almost every city I'm in that has a driving range, I end up there at least once.
And a driving range is the easiest way to introduce friends/family to the game. It's fun to whack a hundred balls.
