Finding a co-founder on Indie Hackers

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anybody found a cofounder on Indie Hackers? This platform seems to be more like a forum than a place to find a cofounder?

Where did you find your cofounder if not on Indie Hackers?

Thanks Nicolas, do you have any experiences with them? If so, what were they?

I have tried CoFoundersLab years ago, and that led to interesting conversations. A friend used the YC founder matching, and he was happy with the quality of the people he met.

Check out the Looking to Partner Up group here on IH. See if anyone else is looking for a partner. And post what you're looking for in that group.

I started with my former colleague

I think that is a good way, and probably get along with each other

I wouldn't really search for a random cofounder, to be honest — you either have somebody close or you should just hire somebody you don't know that well (even as a freelance or part-time worker).

Cofounding a business is a serious matter and there's nearly no chance that a random person will work that great in the long run.

Indie London is a good place for this if you are in London
