I've worked in a digital agency for a year now and there are 2 big issues that I see as potential business Ideas:
Project management is a mess. Jira is painfully slow and hard to understand and it's still hard for non-dev people and developers to communicate well
The feedback we receive from clients for a website ("button is the wrong color", "not enough space here" etc) is often painful for developers to track
I'm now trying to talk to some other agencies or freelancers to see if they might have the same problem. Do any of you have these problems/know existing solutions to these problems and would be willing to share a bit about it?
Hi Jesco,
I work at Deloitte as Digital Strategist and Product Manager and over the past 2 years, I've built and launched 4 digital products, from ideation to full development and market launch, from hundreds to thousands of customers.
We've used both low-code solutions as normal development solutions. I've run sprints, sprint plannings, I've designed roadmaps, discussed features prioritization, gathered feedback and all this in an agile way of working, I even accumulated QA tester functions too, for some months, so I believe I can help you.
The pains you are addressing are real anytime our Clients don't want to pay & use the best tools for product development (Figma, Invision, and so on).
For Project Management and Bug tracking, I personally love Jira but I know it can be overwhelming. Asana and others are also a good alternative.
Regarding product development with feedback collection, there are already great companies that have great products.
PS: people looove to talk about new products but good old Excel remains the best tool to manage dependencies, sprint, planning, and sooo much more!
