Hi,
I'm Cem, responsible for growth at Adsby. Previously, I managed the growth for a taxi app that was actively used by hundreds of thousands of people.
Now, I’m facing a new challenge in the SaaS world, which is quite different from my previous experience with a mobile app.
Currently, we're experimenting with different channels and strategies to fuel our growth. We also study other successful startups to learn from their strategies.
Our biggest dilemma right now is this: Should we test multiple channels at once, or focus on one channel at a time and optimize it fully?
I’m curious to hear your suggestions or experiences regarding this dilemma. What’s your take on this approach?
At least one person in your startup team needs to focus on customer interviews, building a brand, and getting people on-boarded. Marketing is a feature, it is not something you do after you've built a product.
Great point, Martin! Building the brand and getting people onboard definitely takes priority early on. Thanks for the reminder!
What do you think are the biggest risks and rewards of testing multiple channels at once versus focusing on one? Have you seen any clear advantages or disadvantages to either approach?
We’re still figuring out the risks and rewards of each approach.
One channel at a time so that one can analyze the results.
With multiple channels, very difficult to find out what's working and why it is working.
Focusing on one channel at a time does seem like the best way to understand what’s working. Thanks for your insight!
