Finding the right marketing partner

Hi,

I am basically a fullstack developer and never a guy with marketing skills.

I have created tons of softwares over the years and even launched a few. None of them took off even when competitors offer similar ones for far expensive price.

This series of failures made me understand that I needed a partner who specializes in marketing.

I have now a product that is in MVP stage. It is for SEO optimizing images and videos with a click of a button. I don't have funds to promote it due to a series of failures I had in life.

If someone could point me in a right direction as to how I can find the right person who has marketing ideas, it would be really helpful.

Running back of startups multiple times and failing all of those times made me realize one thing. I don't want to screw up my marketing strategy for next product. Especially when your life depends on this new product.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just checked your website not a clue what your product does. Might want some examples of benefits you get by doing it.

@volkandkaya Thanks for checking out the website. It is a software application that can SEO optimize images and videos.

Seo experts agree on the fact that image optimization is critical to SEO. But often times this "optimization" is just about compressing files and renaming them with keywords.

But image optimization for SEO is more than just that.

The tool can do the following as part of optimization:

      1. Compress files without visible loss of quality, better than online compression tools available in market.

      2. Bulk rename files to match keywords in different ways.

      3. Embed metadata with SEO info. Retain this info even after compression without increasing file size.

      4. Allows bulk geo tagging of images. This means you can make search engines believe that the image was taken in a particular location. This is usually done for local SEO purposes.

      5. Zips all the optimized files into an archive for backup or easy sharing or upload.

This is not just for the SEO industry but for any business that deals with images and videos that needs to online.

Hope that you can understand the product better.

Might want to put that on your landing page :)

Gave me some great ideas for https://versoly.com/, will have to look into compression, keywords and metadata.

          Thanks!

Versoly looks great. Yes, compression is definitely a good option. It seems you already have meta tags support. Metadata for images would be a good addition.

How would this software get access to your site to do all this magic?

    1. 1

It doesn't need to access my server to do any of the magic. It is a Windows desktop application which doesn't need external access to do any work. Once optimization is started, even if internet goes off, it will complete the work.

Cost of handling these tasks online would cost a lot for me in terms of bandwidth and server requirements.
