"Fired on January 1st": Turning a Setback Into My Startup Dream

Hello fellow indies,

As we count down to the new year, I'm also counting down to an unexpected personal milestone: being fired on the 1st of January. 🥲

Working for nearly a decade in this SaaS company (if you wanna know which one is this, just ask) has been a rollercoaster of learning, growth, and challenges. This experience has not only honed my skills but also ignited a passion for creating something to call mine.
Now, as I face being fired, I'm channeling this passion into building something of my own.

While it might sound like a rough start to the year, I'm choosing to spin this into a positive – it's the push I needed to start my own venture: Templated (https://templated.io).

Transitioning from the security of a job to the uncertainties of entrepreneurship is a challenge, but it's one I'm excited to tackle head-on. I'm committed to not just building a job for myself, but creating a venture that's both financially sustainable and personally fulfilling.

Wish me luck! 🤞
