🚀 First app. First launch. Would love your eyes on it—are we ready for prime time?

Hey IH,

We just launched our very first app ever on Product Hunt today—it’s called PitchGrid.

It’s an Android app built for youth athletes (and their parents or coaches) to compare training videos side-by-side—think pitching mechanics, batting form, or drill progress over time. You load two or more videos, sync them to the same motion point (like ball release or swing contact), and analyze in real time or slow motion.

I originally built it to help my daughter with her softball training—just filming her drills and trying to visually show her what was working or not. The more we used it, the more useful it became, and I figured other parents and coaches might need the same thing.

⚙️ It’s currently in open testing on Google Play. Based on feedback and stability, we’ll submit it for full production soon.

This is also our first Product Hunt launch, and yes—I spent way too long making a mediocre demo video 😅

Would love your honest feedback on:

• Is the app ready for production?

• Is the value prop clear?

• What’s missing or confusing?

• Should we be doing something differently post-launch?

Here’s the link if you want to check it out:

Huge thanks in advance to anyone who gives it a look.

We’re just one softball dad and a few hundred late nights trying to make something helpful.
