First experience of selling something I built

Back in February I created a simple news aggregator for Coronavirus. Basically I wanted keep myself updated about the virus and how other countries are being affected. Live website - https://visualizenow.org/corona-news
Few weeks ago when I was looking for some freelance gigs here and there, I came to know about r/forhire subreddit. So I made a post there about my Python skills and what I have done in the past. I also listed this website in my portfolio.
Soon after I got a message from a guy saying he has some projects and if I can help him. I shared my email and he emailed me saying he wants to buy the news aggregator to which I replied it's already on github https://github.com/sagunsh/corona-live and you are free to use it.
He insisted that I help him with deployment and teach him the basics of how to make sure the site is running. So I asked him to get a VPS from Linode and helped him with deployment and make the website live. Got paid $100 for my work.
Although it's only $100 but the satisfaction of making a sale is very new to me. I have only worked on projects for people, not sold something that I built entirely for myself. And $100 for 1-2 hours of work is not too bad.
Hey congrats on the success! $100 is nothing to sneeze at. A nice dinner out if not some groceries and cell phone bill.

Yes since I don't have any sales skill, it feels good to sell something without even trying lol
