First IH project: t-shirt printing recommendations?
Working on my first IH project:
Which is going to be some T-shirt I’ve designed.
Does anyone have any vendor recommendations for printing designs on t-shirts?
Would it be better to go with a local shop, so I can get quicker feedback? Was looking at Custom Ink.
Should I go with a screen print or a digital print?

Have you validated your idea yet? You can do this with a simple landing page and a targeted ad in Google Ads or Facebook Ads.
There are many, many, many, many reviews discussing the different print on demand shirt vendors. Have you tried searching for any? Use terms such as “Printful versus ...” or Red Bubble review it Custom Ink versus (competitor).
Regarding choosing between screen print vs digital print, one thing to consider is that depending on the vendor, screen printing will have an up-front cost to create the screen, as well as requirements for a minimum order
Digital prints have neither.
Amazon Merch is something to consider, also. You make much less on each shirt, but you will exist in their marketplace. I tried it, but didn’t pay for any ads and made no sales (it was a geek-oriented shirt for parents), which caused my products to be eventually removed.
type of print is something that the manufacturer decides. depends on your designs really.

But you could honestly pick any printer, print one to get the feel of it, and just go from there. What is stopping you from must using Printful?
