First impressions on my newsletter landing page?

Hey everyone, I just launched my new landing page for my newsletter "junior to Senior"

It's a career advice newsletter for programmers to teach them about the non-technical skills needed to navigate their careers. These are the types of skills like communication, managing emotions, interviewing, salary negotiation, etc that they don't teach you in school or in coding boot camps.

Landing page is at https://www.junior-to-senior.com

Let me know what you think!

    Hey 👋🏼
I like the overall design however a couple of things cute my attention.

    1. Is there a reason why junior is small letter and Senior is uppercase?
    2. You have hamburger menu where you put button subscribe do you really need that?
    3. You have small description on the bottom of the page explaining what it’s all about it. I think you should add more ‘description’, what kind of content should potential subscribe can expect by singing up for a newsletter.

So to conclude add more content why some skills are important for growing up as developer, etc..
I'm sorry if I missed something alonge the way because I'm browsing site form my phone.

Thanks for the feedback @ggavrilo! Finally finding some time to respond so sorry for the delay.

      1. Yeah my intention with the capitalization was that a lowercase junior would "Grow" into a capitalized Senior role...I guess I was just trying to play around too much.
      2. Yeah the hamburger menu with the 1 button bugs me too...I used a landing page template and the mobile menu is supposed to have more links that would push the button down farther. I removed all the links so the button is the only thing that shows on the mobile menu now. I'll try to fix that.
      3. I agree, and thanks for the input. I'm working on adding more info to the page to explain what exactly will be covered in the newsletter.

      Have a great week!

I agree with your comments. I didn't understand the implied meaning behind the lowercase junior either. It should be sentence or title casing for such things.

Going off of what @ggavrilo said, I think clarifying that "Junior to Senior" is a newsletter would be good to do in the description as well. That way you could clean things up by getting rid of the "Subscribe to Newsletter" button on top, leaving only the "Subscribe" button next to the email field.

And honestly, what you wrote here is a great description. Putting more stuff like that on the landing page would only further incentivize people to subscribe.

    Best of luck!

Yeah, I realize now the description I wrote on this post here offers more of an explanation than the landing page does :|

I'll work on adding more content to explain the benefits of subscribing. Thanks!

I agree the foundation is excellent, just need more information. Well done.
