First iteration, any feedback appreciated

http://today.domains

I just "ninja-released" the very first iteration of today.domains' landing page.

There's a lot of improvements to be done yet, but I thought I could use other people's opinions. You can say I'm a "first-timer" in these regards.

Any feedback is appreciated. Improvements to the product itself, to the copy, grammar (English as second language!), colors, type... Anything you feel like it could be improved, I'm all hears.

Thanks and enjoy the rest of your Sunday everybody!

Clever idea and the page looks good. Great domain for this, which is particularly fitting.

    A few thoughts:

    1. I'm not sure what step 3 means: "Secure the domains you're interested in, and watch your portfolio grow." What portfolio? Is this for people who resell good domains?
    2. Along the same lines as 1, I'm not quite sure who this is for. I like building stuff, so I'm often looking for good domains that I could turn into businesses (which I rarely launch... but that's another issue!). It could be good for people who want to invest in good domains. Either way, I think you could make it more compelling by focusing on the particular user intent.
    3. A preview of your email on the site would be cool. Maybe, "Domains like [GREAT EXAMPLE DOMAIN]" will be sent to you daily. Maybe you could share "last week's email" or something since (hopefully) a bunch will be sold.
    4. If you are able to build up your subscriber list, then you could probably build up a small marketplace where people who have good domains just sitting around could list them as "premium" options at a low price (10-100s). You then take a cut of the transaction details. I have a bunch of reasonably decent domains from project ideas sitting around. I spent a little time trying to sell a few, but it ended up being a hassle. I'd wager the same is true for other IHers.

Very valuable feedback, @dkrape, very much appreciated! I've already shipped some adjustments to the copy and will make some more, deeper adjustments in the upcoming days.

As for the domain marketplace pivot, that was not what I had in mind for monetization, but it is a cool idea. I'll definitely consider it down the road.

      Thanks!

Thanks @tholloday and @devictoribero! Those are very valuable insights. I'll take some action on them!

I agree that the form to signup could be included in the page. Doing so, you will increase the conversions

I think the heading "today domains" should be changed to something else that illustrates the benefit of the service such as saving time thinking of a domain name.

"Directly on your inbox" should be "Directly in your inbox".

Why is it asking me to create a password? Seems unnecessary given how the service works.

To increase conversions put a form to sign up directly under heading and paragraph.
