Perspectiva is my most successful side-project (turned full-time-gig a while ago):
A journaling app for people who struggle with journaling.
A couple days ago, one of our journalers on the lifetime plan reached a 200-day streak, becoming the first person who reached that impressive milestone.
(leaving my own streak far far away in the dust)
As with all important milestones in our users' journey, we made a celebration card and danced around our standing desks š
What's your pricing? you offer a lifetime plan?
hi @Danirogerc! We have a $99/y plan, which is the most popular one and a $450 lifetime plan. We also have a $20/mo plan but few people use that, probably only 10%.
Out of curiosity, how did you validate this idea before launching it? I think this is a nice idea, but I feel that it's difficult to know if it would actually get users or not before building it.
Let me explain: Let's say you are building a booking system for massage parlors. You can go there and ask them how they handle their bookings, and you discover they are doing everything manually. You find out that there's actually a big need for a booking system.
In the case of a lot of B2C apps, I feel like there are a number of problems:
I'm not asking this to discourage you, I'm asking this because I bump into this in several niches that I have considered, both currently and in the past:
How do I validate a B2C app without building it, when most people either don't care at all, or don't care a lot and where there are already a bunch of competing solutions?
