I'm not sure how I'd find reliable statistics to show on the site - other than the £500+ that I've spent on courses and not completed them :)
Re the link back to Google - I'm partly through a blog post that details the benefits of taking online courses and I was planning on linking to that.
I like it that you're first qualifying people by your mini-questionnaire. That's innovative. I have some reservations about the design though. Maybe a combination of cleaner typography + some funny illustrations would work better. Also, have you considered including a personal video address on the signup page?

Your copy is great! The pitch is really easy to understand + I think that starting with the question is cool.
My first impression of the 90's style was that the site wasn't very professional but I guess I kind of like it now.
How did you build the page? Is this done with a page builder or is it hand-coded?
The landing page was built by hand. I'm a full time developer but not a designer, which is why it doesn't look that great :).
I hadn't realised it had a 90's feel until I read the feedback here. I wanted to avoid it looking like all the other landing pages out there.

I actually like the old school design motif you have going on, it helps you stand out from the crowd. I would add some sort of a fun message when the user clicks "No, not me" instead of redirecting them to google.
Honestly the initial impression brings '90s to my memories but of course it might work for the 30+ crowd. Still, I'd myself prefer something a bit more futuristic or modern.

I'm trying to get the fun but useful feel to the project. As for the 30+ crowd, I'm not sure the age demographic of the target audience. Perhaps that should be something I need to research more.
Love it on mobile - my only suggestion is to really look at the profile of who you are targeting. I'm guessing late 20-something techie crowd?
A lot of uncompleted courses are from your 30-50 year olds who basically struggled through the shitty LMS's of times past. (And sadly, still current.) So maybe a different style landing page for them might work better. (I'd think Medium.)
Also these people would probably be more motivated to work for the sense of completion, and money spent well, rather than any certification.

I've not really given much thought to the target audience, so maybe I need to look into that a bit more.
Good point about the motivation too. For me, online courses have been a very important part of my career progression, so maybe adding 'selling' points like that would be better for the project.
