First Mobile Launch Checklist, Dos and Don'ts?

Great to be part of this amazing community!

I'm launching an iOS and Android mobile app in the coming days. As this is my first mobile app launch on my own, I wanted to get some advice from the experts who have done this before.

Can you share your pre-launch checklist or things that went well and didn't on your app launches?

This app will be mainly used in the UK but planning to push it to all other international app stores as well.

Thanks,

My Android launch checklist now has one item I used to underestimate: make the first successful workflow visibly obvious. For Kinetic Override that means permission explanation → record a tiny tap/swipe sequence → replay it once. If that loop is not crystal clear, extra launch channels do not matter yet.

I found this useful for pre-launch checklist. Quite extensively covered steps you could implement.

    Good luck!

Hi @pratheep! Congrats on your upcoming launch. When it comes to your store listings & early organic marketing, I made this checklist from my experience launching Android & iOS apps: ASOchecklist.com

Hope it helps, let me know if you have other launch questions & I'll try to give input.

@rene Thanks! This is really helpful and you have laid it out well. Do you have any other pro tips to get organic traffic to our apps based on your experience?

I've failed at many things over the years & missed out on some early organic traffic - my best advice is to research competitors for value positioning & keywords to rank for, make sure to have videos in your app listing even a simple app walkthrough video, focus on marketing channels you know people would use to find you (app store search is always the top for mobile apps) & also where they'd want to connect with you (ie FB groups), and the best advice is to listen to early users & iterate your app & positioning/keywords to generate word of mouth with a good product - make it easy for someone to share your app with others.
