First NFT & AI Project | Non Fungible Faces

I wanted to share my story of how I became a fan of NFTs in 4 days 😊

I was stuck in Dubai due to Covid restrictions for like two weeks so I had plenty of time to kill.
I was looking for an inspiration to build something and came across this youtube video explaining what NFT is.

So it began...😂

I started with twitter. Followed some NFT artists and then instantly got pulled into the NFT community. I wanted to be a part of this amazing community but there was one huge problem. I'm not an artist 😁 I don't like creating art and to top it off, I'm color blind🤣

Luckily I'm a machine learning enthusiast. I knew I could get a model to generate artwork for me. I came across a ML model that can transfer the style of one art into another image. 😏 Now all I needed was some images that are ready to be redrawn by an AI. But where do I find copyright free images that people find valuable???

My solution to this problem was drumroll..... Selfies! 🥳

I built a tool that uploads a selfie and creates an artwork of your face using a ML Model. Then it will be created as an NFT and available for purchase. Also any profits will be distributed back to the owner of that face 😇
