First paying customer on day one

Yesterday I launched Flipp – a marketing image automation API with a handy design toolkit.

With Flipp you can design branded social media image templates, and generate unique previews for every page you share.

Flipp

I didn't expect to cross the first milestone that quickly – I just got the first subscriber on the launch day!

Surprisingly the launch went even less "viral" than the early announcement, but it's still ok within my expectations. What I expected is a slightly better conversion of the waiting list into registrations.

Anyway, I'm happy to have a single customer since day one. One more, and I could brag about $1000 ARR 😅

Congrats on the first customer, unbelievable that you got them on the first day!

How/where did you launch? I'm still not quite getting this "launch" thing, do you just post the link everywhere, or just to your waiting list?

      Thanks Artem!

I just posted about it in my twitter, and pinged the waiting list. Nothing extraordinary ;)

I'm not big on twitter and haven't had a massive waiting list, so I'm happy with the outcome so far.

That's a pretty big deal, congrats and to many more customers!
