First paying customer! Sort of.

Womp womp

On February 18, I saw my first free trial customer convert to a paying customer.

YES!

On February 19, she contacted me wanting to cancel.

NO!

It’s all good

I built some simple customer insights into an admin on my app, and I can tell that some of my trial customers are pretty engaged with the product.

That’s a good sign!

Not to mention, every week I post my own meal plan to various Facebook groups. I get lots of people asking what app I use for meal planning, to which I answer with a link to my app. This generates about 20 leads and about 5 trial signups every week. It’s starting to compound.

Once I find my sweet spot with getting people engaged and convert to paying customers, I’m going to use early revenue to start paying for ads.

I could be right on the cusp of kicking this into gear!

Hi Jacob, an interesting post. Did you ask your customer why she wanted to cancel the very next day?
