First paying customers on NotionCharts(.io)

I'm thrilled to report to IH community that 20 days after launch, 250+ signups and 300+ charts, we got our first 2 paying customers. This is very encouraging and we are working hard to make the product better.

Thanks to IH community for all the support and awesome posts that helped us a lot.

We appreciate any feedback/suggestions you may have.

Thanks

Congratulations! This looks like a fantastic tool for marketers who use Notion and need to give clients monthly reports from exported data. Following you for updates :D

Only feedback I have is...It would be great to be able to view your website on mobile 😅

Other than that congrats on reaching the milestone I think it's a fab idea and I'm sure I'll be using it at some point in the future.

I agree ! We are working on it..

I second the mobile website. It doesn't work if I request the desktop site either.

Congrats! I'll definitely try it out. I'm building Tally, a form-building tool, and we have a Notion integration to sync your form responses to a Notion table. Might be cool to try to visualize the form results with graphs.

Thank you ! I tried Tally and I love it. Will be using it very soon. By the way, did you guys build the notion like editor from scratch? Did you use a library? It's super awesome!

      1. 1

Thanks a lot! We built it from scratch indeed, Tally is made with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Express, and runs on GCP's Cloud Run.

Awesome job! Please do consider open sourcing the editor part (not necessarily the blocks that tally has, but just the UI framework)

Thanks for sharing! What made you & your business partner decide to host Tally on GCP?

          1. 1

Hi Ariana! Filip had previous experience with it and we received $1000 free credits, so that's why we went with GCP.

            1. 1

Ah yup, that would definitely influence me to create a GCP account too! haha

sidenote: not sure if this is already in the works or in the Tally PRO tier but came across the idea of possibly creating the ability for us to either have white or black text when the thank you page is displayed.

I realized that on my current startup webpage ( http://thebeautyslot.com/ ) after submission the thank you message is in grey & with the transparent background makes it a bit difficult to read the text. If having the opportunity to alter the color text to white would be a major plus. I went ahead and submitted this on Tally's feature request page too.

I love Tally, so glad to have come across this platform on Indiehackers! 🎉

I love this. Reporting is a huge limitation of notion. We ended up implementing something custom with the API. This would have saved us a ton of time. Glad to see someone productizing this.

Hi @jefflombard. Thanks for your comment!
We'd love to get your feedback of the product. What are some important features that you'd like to see in the product? We will be releasing a new version in a couple of weeks which will let users define filters and give the ability to create overlay charts.
