Big moment today. Someone actually tried JewelViz and gave me honest feedback.
The good: Image quality was solid. Jewelry details came out well — the product accuracy worked.
The honest criticism: They wanted an Indian model in casual western outfits with a professional studio background. But the AI kept generating saree + wedding setting even when they selected "Modern Indian" and "Simple Everyday."
This is a real gap. JewelViz currently leans heavily toward traditional/bridal jewelry showcase. But there's a whole segment of jewellers selling casual, contemporary, western-style jewelry who need different model styles and settings.
What I'm taking away:
— Model style prompts need to be stronger and more specific
— "Modern Indian" needs to actually mean modern, not traditional
— Studio background should override cultural setting completely
0 paying customers still. But this feedback is gold.
