First sale on our non-clinical jobs board!

Just wanted to share this exciting win. We started a non-clinical jobs board a few months back. We're hoping to capitalize on the growing trend of physician burnout and also monetize the traffic from our main site (GrepMed).

After a few months of manually supplying the supply side for with interesting jobs, we finally got our first organic paid job listing! I always thought it was pretty cliché to hear people say it, but it really does feel 10x rewarding to make that first dollar online from a sale.

So pumped!! We have a pretty targeted audience of high-income earners, so I'm really excited for where this might lead! 🚀🚀🚀

That's huge! Especially in healthcare where everything moves so slowly!

What is the traffic like on your main site?

Also, $148/mo is way too cheap. As a hiring manager in the past, I would easily drop $400-500 to post a job for a month. Recruiters would cost $20-60K for a hire like this/

Thanks, trying to build momentum first before decide if we should hike up any prices. Might be the paradox of charging too little...

We get a few thousand visitors per day on our main site (you can see jobs cross listed here https://www.grepmed.com/), bringing in ramen profitable spammy ad revenue that unfortunately is completely untargeted (best buy ads etc), so our RPMs are terribly low. I haven't been successful in my meager attempts at building direct advertiser relationships unfortunately.

Congratulations @gmdmd! That's awesome. I'm stoked for you.

In my non-indie hacker life, I work with radiologists / radiology practices. Hiring is an ongoing struggle for these groups. I often think that something like @lynnetye's Key Values for the medical domain could be an awesome product.

    Best of luck!
