First time launching in public

With more than 18 years of experience developing software, having learned about product management, and having notions of business and marketing, I never dared to launch anything in public. Maybe it was because of imposter syndrome, fear of failure, or thinking that nobody would care about what I built.

Today, with AI, it is faster and possible to launch at a very low cost if you have the right knowledge.

Today, I am launching my first side project to the world. Without fear, without a plan, without a business goal—just to see how people react to something I built with a lot of care, and with the only intention that people use it and have fun.

Today, at 44 years old, I made my debut! It is never too late!

The interesting part isn't launching at 44. It's that after 18 years of building, you finally decided to test your work against the market instead of your own standards. A lot of experienced builders stay invisible because they keep optimizing the product before they ever optimize the feedback loop.

Now I've finally built up the courage to show what I'm working on to the public to get feedback and gain experience as a solopreneur. I had to break through a lot of mental barriers to do it, but here we are!

Thank you so much for your comment. It excites me that someone from the other side of the world is taking the time to write a few words for me. I truly appreciate it.

I'm glad you pushed through it.

One part of your reply made me think about something that goes a bit beyond the courage to launch itself, but I don't think I can explain it properly in a thread without oversimplifying it.

Happy to share the thought if it's useful. What's the best email to reach you on?
