First time trying out SVG animation - how does it look? And other feedback pls

Hi I'm not really a designer but I thought I'd try my hand at animating some SVG screenshots on my landing page. Let me know what you think, if they actually work on your device (!) and any other feedback you have on my new landing page would be awesome thanks

    Thanks for putting this out and pushing the limits with SVG James!

    I think it's a good start. What would you be thinking about doing next, pushing it further?

    I think the layout or the animation is not where I'd invest more time -- those are smaller details. I'd suggest thinking about conveying at the top what struggle your product is there to fix:

    Get that nailed and I think your page will leave a lasting impression. Coupled with those animations (which help them understand what they're getting into), you'll leave your visitors with a sense that they're in the right place.

      Thanks for checking it out - I am currently trialling a few different landing pages with different features/entry points but so far largely trial-and-error so thanks so much for that link :)

        Hrmm, I'm thinking there's something good in both of those other ones. The world map viscerally connects with the "get to know how they're feeling from afar" difficulty. The second one with the swim lanes shows the impact on the governance of "knowing" the feelings of the members of the team.

        "How's my team doing?" is the job-to-be-done here, correct? Am I getting closer to the sentiment the visitor might be feeling by getting to your page?

    Hi @jcuk

    Good effort.

    Here is my feedback:

    • The page has too much whitespace
    • The left and right-aligned layout is slightly annoying (increases cognitive load) [they are quite spaced out]
    • The animated screenshots feel very low-fidelity reminded me of - https://epic.ai/mockdown/
    • The final Call to Action could be massively improved. (Make it bigger) - https://i.imgur.com/X6HnzVO.png
    • I feel there is a lot you can improve here.

      This is amazing feedback thank you! What do you mean by "left and right-aligned layout"? Do you mean the numbered screenshots being staggered on the page?
