Hey IndieHackers! π
A few hours ago I shared https://getfloma.com, a CLI that lets you automate file tasks with plain English.
The response has been incredible - thank you all for the feedback and support!
π Big Update: Paid Tiers Are Now Live
Based on your feedback, I just launched paid tiers with early bird pricing for the first 100 signups:
Personal Plan: $4.99/mo (normally $9.99)
- 50 AI-powered workflows/month
- 50 emails/month
- Scheduled automations (set and forget)
- Auto-process new files
- Priority support
Pro Plan: $16.99/mo (normally $29.99)
- 250 AI-powered workflows/month
- 150 emails/month
- Everything in Personal
- Slack integration (most requested!)
- Telegram alerts
- Webhooks & API access
π What I learned in the first few hours:
1. "Scheduling" is the killer feature - people want to automate and forget
2. Slack integration was mentioned in almost every comment
3. Privacy matters - "100% local, no cloud" resonates strongly
4. Pricing anxiety is real - hence the early bird discount
π― Why the discount?
I want to reward early supporters and get feedback from real users before finalizing pricing. The first 100 people who sign up get to lock in this rate forever.

π Questions for you:
1. Is $4.99/mo the right price for a CLI automation tool?
2. What's the one feature that would make you upgrade?
Cool idea, but I see it currently supports only Mac. I use an Ubuntu machine - so will wait to try it out. Just a quick tip, generally Mac apps can easily be packaged for linux as well. I totally get the Privacy part, in fact Privacy is the USP for my own product called Clear Mail for Gmail as well.
Thanks! It actually works on Ubuntu too since it runs through Homebrew. I just havenβt highlighted that yet.
I am student.Can i free?
Thereβs already a free version for everyone, including students.
