flutter help
i am in way over my skill set trying to develop a flutter app that i purchased on codecanyon, can anyone give me some pointers or maybe take a look at it and tell me if i should just hire someone to develop it for me? i am a web developer of sorts, i can hack my way around wordpress and php with relative ease but this has me completely lost.
Hey! Hang in there this stuff is hard to start with. I'd suggest taking a Flutter course on udemy if you haven't already https://www.udemy.com/courses/search/?src=ukw&q=flutter
I started learning React Native about a year ago . While it was super confusing at first and I was "completely lost" I slowly gained knowledge and confidence.
If you want to hire someone to do it for you that's fine, but 1. devs are expensive 2. you can do it better!

Have you done any Flutter development before? If not might be worth starting a blank project completely separate to what you purchased on CodeCanyon and go through some tutorials etc. to get a feel for the code base after doing this you might find what you purchased a bit more understandable.
I found the Flutter YouTube channel was pretty good and had a lot of content. I like what Google are doing with Flutter and they seem to be releasing looks of new feature.

thanks! no i have never worked with flutter before, but in the past month i have read through everything i can get my hands on and made test apps in vs code and android studio, which were super easy because the program basically did everything for me. but other than that i am completely new to it.
Ok so not coming in with no experience. I wonder if its worth contacting the person who wrote code originally and see if maybe you could pay them for some consulting to get you up and running at least they would knowledge of the exact code base.
i looked into that, they want $500 for the service, which is fine it would be worth it but i wanted to see how much of it i could do before i spend that.
