Focus Groups For Content Creators

Let me start off by saying I'm a non-technical.

These past 2 months I've been working on gauging market fit and measuring rev gen potential for an idea that revolves around focus groups for content creators - think usertesting.com but for the individual creator.

I'm pleased to say that it's seen quite a bit of excitement from the creator community (300+ survey responses with 84% asking to be placed on waitlist), however, I'm curious to see how people more technical than me think of such an idea.

I don't have a set landing page or MVP yet, but I'm looking to get a landing page going soon that'd aid in developing the waitlist even faster.

My question is, does the concept make sense? When approached by a potential technical cofounder what are some do's and don'ts when discussing the project?
