I redesigned GoneDomains – increasing Domain Rating
The previous landing page explained the product in terms of its technical features. But users don’t care about technical details – they don’t sell because they don’t address the user’s needs.
– How does my product solve the user’s problem?
– How does it increase their profits and income?
– How will it boost their business?
– What do they gain in the end?
These are the questions you should always ask yourself, from the idea stage to the launch.
While redesigning, I researched competitors, picked up some ideas, and, most importantly, studied their pricing strategies. I decided to start at $42, with plans to raise the price and experiment in the future. I’ve realized that if a product solves a problem effectively, users don’t pay much attention to the price.
This understanding comes with experience. I’m thrilled to finally grasp it, even if it took a year of solo entrepreneurship.
Let’s keep going!
