Hey IndieHackers! đź‘‹
Over the past weeks, I’ve poured serious effort into improving the landing page for my project, focusflows.eu. My main goal was to make everything clearer and more inviting, so visitors instantly “get” what FocusFlows does - and ideally sign up on the spot.
It worked, at least for the first step: I reached 10 signups! Every new user feels like a small win, but, honestly… getting people to come back is where the struggle gets real.
I’m finding that turning those initial signups into active, returning users is way harder than launching a website or tweaking the copy. Even with transparent messaging, helpful features, and personal touches, retention feels like an uphill battle. lots of trial and error with onboarding flows, reminders, and early feedback loops.
Does anyone else feel this way? Any practical tips for improving retention, engaging users, or building a tiny community in these early days? Feedback on my new landing page is hugely appreciated too- if anyone has a minute to look!
Thanks folks, and good luck with your own indie journeys!
