Food Truck Google Ad Campaign Launch - will it work?

I'm always working on multiple projects. But I've had my food truck on the road since 2016. We're moving away from festivals and plan to book out only private catering for every weekend from May2021 thr Oct 2021. We typically charge above $1k per event depending on the details.

This is my first time ever experimenting with google adwords. In 2019 we filled most but not all of our catering slots, interested to see if google adwords will generate enough business to fill those slots.

I'm split testing to ensure I can measure the impact of the campaign. Users will be taken to a landing page that looks identical, but the url's are slightly different depending on if it's organic or from the campaign.

Then the post on the contact form of my site has slightly different data so we can measure how often someone landed on our page from the campaign, and how often those people felt compelled to click the 'request quote' button.

For now I set my budget to $11 a day and it looks like a click costs anywhere from .80 to $3.

If anyone has launched a similar campaign strategy, I'd be interested to hear how it went and any pointers.

I'll report back when I have some results.
