Thanks, Halina for the list. It's always good to see what else is out there. I discovered Gorillas that look a lot like https://www.milkrun.com/ here in Australia. Ps. would love to connect with you on LinkedIn.

Foodtech startups are using innovative technology and creative solutions to transform the way we produce, process, and consume food. https://foodcourtexpert.com/ from plant-based meat alternatives to personalized nutrition plans, these companies are driving major changes in the food industry and challenging traditional notions of what we eat and how we eat it. This has the potential to create a more sustainable, healthy, and convenient food system for everyone.

Today the culinary industry is very advanced. People couldn't imagine before that there would be thermometers that would measure the temperature inside food. Now I can't imagine life without such a thermometer. I often cook the place, and to find out if the meat inside is ready, I use an amazon meat thermometer . It's very convenient, and most importantly, I always know when I need to take the meat off the grill. Eating raw meat is dangerous to your health, so it's important to cook it all through.

Mushrooms are incredible. When you are a vegan, mushrooms can be used to mimic meat or just be used in concert with other vegetables.

I'm not a fan of people trying to create meat-inspired products either. Vegetables, fruits, legumes are fine on their own, and anyone trying to turn them into meat is missing the point of being vegan. I'm not interested in meat and I don't miss it. I don't need food to remind me of it.

Looks like there are a few companies on this list trying to frame themselves as the next Beyond Burger or Impossible Burger, and I for one will not be buying them.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing, Halina.

It's encouraging to see companies and people stepping up in the face of so many challenges facing humanity. Climate change is an existential crisis that people have struggled to address. One of the biggest side-effects of climate change is, ultimately, forced migration and food scarcity.

With companies and investors focused on innovative food cultivation tech, I'm hoping we can avoid massive famines. We as a species have been able to eliminate starvation for decades yet the political and economic will has lagged. Seeing VCs invest billions into food tech is great.

Regenerative agriculture, vertical farming and lots of innovation with meat alternatives are super exciting to see and will eventually help reduce our carbon footprint. Let's hope we can get our act together before it's too late.

Yes, let's hope we can get it together! Food tech is both the cause and solution of lots of environmental problems and I like that this article pointed that out. More food delivery means more throw away packaging, and a greater carbon footprint. AND, at the same time, foodtech is really at the forefront of some super cool environmental solutions like mycelium based packaging, which I think is so cool.
