For Indie Hackers: try a free video before paying anything

Not running a special discount, being upfront about that. But I did want this community specifically to know: new signups on Brand Narratives AI get one free video credit, no card required. Paste a URL, GitHub repo, or pitch deck, get a documentary-style or explainer video back in under 5 minutes, and see for yourself before spending anything.

After the free one, it's a flat $12/video, no subscription, credits don't expire.

If you try it, I'd genuinely like to know what breaks or what you'd want it to do that it doesn't. Not fishing for upvotes, just want honest reactions from people who actually make things.

The $12 flat rate with no expiring credits is the part I'd trust more than the video itself — most AI video tools bury you in subscription tiers you never fully use.

My question is about the input side rather than the output: a GitHub repo can range from a fully documented project with a rich README and commit history to a folder of code with almost no narrative at all. Does the tool ask clarifying questions when the input is that sparse, or does it fill the gaps with generic narration? That's the difference between a video that actually explains what the project does and one that just sounds like it does.

If you've tested both ends of that spectrum, I'd be curious which holds up better — pitch decks (which already have a built-in narrative) or bare repos (which don't).
