This week, we decided to break the pattern of our podcast and talk about our early days. The show is The Early Days Podcast and we usually talk to fellow entrepreneurs about their experience of building a business. We try to provide as much value as possible to those building their own companies.
Some more context for us: we are two programmers who started an apparel company with no prior experience - DULO. Our product is a hassle-free dress shirt for entrepreneurs - it saves time by removing the need for ironing and dry cleaners.
We've been doubling down on our content strategy of documenting the process by having a vlog, a blog, a podcast, as well as an insider newsletter.
I am looking forward to collecting your questions for our next show :) Thanks!
Love the product. Really nice. Good job. Bit of a meta question here. Do you think the time/money requirement of running a vlog, blog, podcast, and newsletter (!) is the optimum way of solidifying your brand relationship and generating new sales? Do customers really have that much brain space for shirt related news? Or if it's about other topics do they want to turn to a shirt company for commentary on things they'd rather turn to a specialist source for? Keep up the cool products!

Awesome Marin, I listened to the episode earlier today.
Great answers and great episode, keep it up ;)
How did you coordinate with factory to create the prototypes and first batch? How did you advertise your first batch? What are the challenges of a product based company in your early days (e.g. Finding/convincing factories to take orders for small production as factories in china are notorious for not interested at the small orders, quality control, etc.)?
Hi @shockwave,
