$499 is cheap enough to move fast, but “SaaSurfer” is doing the opposite of what the product is supposed to do.
You built a validation tool for founders trying to reduce bad bets.
The name sounds like a casual browsing tool.
That mismatch makes the product feel lighter than the problem it solves.
A stronger name would probably lift perceived value faster than another feature here.

Great feedback! You're absolutely right about the name mismatch.

"SaaSurfer" was my learning project name (designer learning to code with AI). I kept the playful vibe because it made building more fun.

But you nailed it - validation is serious business. Founders need confidence, not waves 🏄‍♂️

The good news: This is source code, not a live business. The buyer can:

      • Rebrand in ~2 hours (it's just string replacements)
      • Keep all the working tech (AI, payment, UI)
      • Launch under their own brand

In fact, I'd argue a rebrand is part of the value here. You get working tech + the opportunity to position it exactly how YOU want.

Some potential rebrand ideas for the buyer:

      • ValidateThis
      • DemandCheck
      • BuildRight
      • IdeaProof
      • FounderLens

The tech is solid. The name is flexible. Win-win for the right buyer!

      Thanks for engaging! 👍

Exactly — that’s the real lever here.

        The product problem is expensive.
The current name makes it feel cheap.

That gap is why I kept it priced as code, not as a brand.

Whoever buys it is not really buying “SaaSurfer.”
They’re buying a working validation engine they can reframe around a much higher-value promise.

Same product under the right name instantly sells closer to:
“reduce bad bets before you build”
        not
        “browse SaaS ideas faster.”

That repositioning alone is probably worth more than the current asking price.
