For social logins, are marketing emails supposed to be toggled on or off by default?

Pretty much the title. Talking about mobile app social logins, like Google/Apple login.

Can't really seem to find the answer, though I asked ChatGPT and it said they recommend it be off. But trying to get some human answers :)
