For solo devs: How do you keep clients updated?

Hi all, can anyone please recommend a tool to keep clients updated on development progress?

ie. feature implementation, test coverage, test logs, timeline etc

    For contract work, I just send a weekly status update via email. Sometimes if the work is more collaborative, I use a shared Trello board with the client.
