For those who lack discipline: Pledge money to friends that they get to keep if you don't reach your goal.

Hey fellow Indie Hackers!

For a while I've been pledging money to friends that they can't give back if I don't meet a predetermined target. As someone who gets into ruts sometimes, it's a great way to force myself to stay on track.

I've built https://makeapledge.co, which takes a $15 fee to setup a pledge between yourself and a friend. The pledge will be paid out to your friend if he/she confirms that your goal was not met within the target time. It's all done through Stripe, although it's a little weird having the friend sign up for Stripe to receive the funds.

I don't know if anyone will get any use out of it, but I built it for myself anyways so I figured I'd post it here and see what everyone thinks 😁
