"For TikTok" apps and their logos, a social hack?

I've just searched Google Play "for tiktok" apps.

It wasn't surprise to me that there are so many different tools for TikTok. What surprises me is that almost all of them have the same logo.

Is it some kind of hack to get more downloads by tricking users that this is the same brand?

i don't know if its a hack, but, the similarities help folks feel as if they are downloading a trusted app i suppose. psychology. it works.

Could be. But it is not necessarily a viable strategy since most users are going to figure out within a few minutes of using the app.
