Had one of those founder moments this morning.
We discovered that over the past two weeks, we actually had more signups than what showed up in our subscription system.
Bug.
Some founders signed up. Used the product. And we didn’t track them properly.
Which means now we’re scrambling to follow up — after the trial — when the leads are colder than they should be.
Not a great feeling.
But it made me think about something bigger: How many important things do founders miss simply because there’s too much happening?
Investor follow-ups
Application deadlines
Customer requests
Not because we don’t care.
Because there are too many moving parts. Lesson learned:
Fix the bug.
Fix the process.
Reduce dependency on memory.
Curious: Have you ever discovered missed leads or follow-ups too late?
