Founders: How do you deal with family asks?
When family members and/or friends ask for your help, related to your professional skills, what do you do?
As a founder, you're often caught up in your own project(s). So I'm curious how people handle situations where someone asks for their time.
For things like "Hey, can you help me make a website?" or "Hey, can you help me with marketing?"
What do you do? Say no? Say yes? And if you say yes, does it hurt your productivity for your own projects?
I said yes many times but almost always regretted it in the end so I'm not doing "business" with close family members anymore, only if it's a tiny task or question.
I feel this. Good idea to mention "i don't do business with family" haha
