Founders/Indie Hackers will give up 50% revenue to anyone who can bring them users

So I was trying to grow my SaaS.
No marketing experience. No audience. Nothing.

At some point I just thought I would literally give someone half my revenue if they got me users. Like, genuinely. Half.

Talked to other indie hackers. Same feeling everywhere. Founders sitting on real products, willing to split serious money, and just... nobody to partner with.
So I built something about it.

It's called FindMyCrew.
Connects founders with people who know how to grow things — marketers, creators, anyone who's done distribution before.
Pure revenue share. Up to 50%. No retainer, no flat fee.

Founder plugs in their Stripe or Gumroad so MRR is visible to both sides. No trust issues.
If you know how to get users like SEO, content, communities, an audience, paid ads, whatever, there are founders ready to split real revenue with you right now.
Curious what you think. Especially if you're on the growth side then what would make you actually try this?

The 50% feeling is real — we're bootstrapping ProposalGen right now and have had exactly this thought. The math makes sense: if someone can get you to $10k MRR and takes half, you're at $5k MRR you wouldn't otherwise have. That's not a bad deal.

The matchmaking problem I'd be curious how you've solved: how do you vet that the growth person actually has the distribution they claim? Anyone can say they do SEO or have an audience. The Stripe transparency piece handles the founder side, but is there any way for founders to verify the distributor's track record before agreeing to split revenue on a real product?

Asking genuinely — we'd list on something like this if that trust problem is solved. The bottleneck isn't product, it's distribution, and we'd share revenue for real traction.

Hey, I really appreciate your feedback. And I understand your concern.
So agreement can be as low as 1 week. So if your team decides to partner with a growth person after chatting/meeting and going through their POWs, social media handles. Your team can start with 1 week agreement. You can extend that.
And if your team realizes at some point that the marketer is not aligned with the team, then there is the option to terminate the agreement as well.

After a few partnerships of people on the platform, you will also be able to see the ranking, rating and reviews of profiles.
      Hope that helps :)

And if there is any specific feature request you have in mind, then let me know.

The interesting part here is the incentive alignment.

Most early-stage founders can’t really evaluate marketers upfront, and most good growth people are tired of fixed-fee clients with weak products. Revenue share flips the risk model for both sides.

I think the biggest challenge won’t be finding marketers — it’ll be attribution clarity and expectation matching:

what counts as a sourced customer
    how long attribution lasts
whether growth came from product-market fit or distribution
how transparent the funnel data is

The Stripe/Gumroad visibility is actually a smart trust layer though. A lot of these partnerships fail because nobody trusts the numbers.

Feels like this could work especially well for technical founders with strong products but weak distribution experience.

Hey, you pointed one of the problems.

FindMyCrew platform has partnerships after agreement is signed. And agreement can be as low as for 1 week or as high as many years. Agreement can also be terminated in between if both of them agree. There is so much flexibility, and the agreement can also be changed in between. This flexibility lead towards solving some of the issues that current matching platforms have.

And as per your question, the sourced customer would be any user that the website gets, but the split will only happen if any money comes in, which is then split. Also, the app is less towards big startups and more towards indie hackers and solo builders and growth people. Like that's how I want to start this platform as.

I would love to clear any other doubts that you have :)
