Loneliness from working alone is a common complaint I see from remote workers.
Is there something your company, or a company you know, do to expressly combat this issue?
Thanks
At the last company I used to work for, we were all remote but concentrated to one country, so every two months we had a meeting in a given city, by rotation. I think that model works fine even at European scale, nowadays.
The other bits that helped were chat channels dedicated mostly to banter.
My plan is that, if/when I make enough money to hire anyone, I'll probably be making enough money to afford one or two trips every month to actually meet up with an employee. Between airbnb and cheap air travel, it's not that expensive nowadays - as long as visas are not an issue.
