    The scope-creep conversation is 10x easier when you've already had it on paper before the project starts — not during the 'just one more feature' moment when a founder is excited and you feel like the blocker.

    What's helped: define 'launch-ready' as a specific list of what's in scope, then separately write one sentence on what's explicitly out of scope for this sprint. When the inevitable request comes in, you're not saying no to the idea — you're pointing to a doc you both signed off on and offering a clear path for phase.
